Destiny 2 Update Patch Notes: What’s Changed in the New Destiny 2 Hotfix?

It’s finally here. That downtime may have felt like an age, but the Forsaken DLC, and ergo, the Destiny 2 update is now live and raring to go. While the new Destiny 2 hotfix itself doesn’t appear to change much, Bungie has laid down everything that’s now included in the game with the patch, as well as any Destiny 2 fixes that will be addressed in the near future.

Destiny 2 Update Patch Notes: What’s Changed in the New Destiny 2 Hotfix?

Bungie’s forum post indicates that  y’know, the Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC is now live and you should go and play the hell out of it. The developer has also tallied all the new features, much of which you should be able to go and find out for yourself now the hotfix is ready to be downloaded.

If you’re eager to pore over the full Destiny 2 patch notes then you can find them here.. Be warned: it’s a long, long list that all but the most hardy of Guardians will find pretty tiresome to sift through.

Destiny 2 Update: Upcoming Fixes

There’s also an ever-expanding list of fixes that Bungie has promised will be looked at soon.

These include a bunch of things that will be resolved in a new patch that Bungie, bizarrely, has listed at a 4.0.2 update. They are as follows:

  • Year 1 Adventures being locked out for some players.
  • Players being stuck in orbit.
  • Baron Triumphs locked for some players if you join a game after a Baron has been defeated.
  • The new Titan Sentinel Subclass is suffering from an issue wherein melee attacks don’t count towards perks being levelled up.
  • Other miscellaneous text-based errors.

All of those are listed in intricate detail on the Bungie forum post listed above. But, for now, we can push all that to one side. It’s ready to go and avenge Cayde-6 and fire up Destiny 2 I’ll see you out there.
