FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Pack Odds: How to See Pack Odds in FUT
Every pack in FIFA 19 comes with its own probabilities of unpacking different quality items, players, and the like. Speaking on the official website, EA Sports explains that it believes “that providing you with this information will help you make decisions on where you want to invest your FIFA Points, FUT Coins, and time in order to build your best FUT squad.” There is an option underneath every single FUT pack titled “Show Pack Probabilities”, to see this, simply press the pause, options (PS4), or + (Nintendo Switch) button. Once there you will see a list of the probabilities of individual items within each pack.
FIFA 19 Pack Odds: How does Pack Probability Work?
To calculate the pack odds in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, EA simulate “the opening of a very large number of packs, for each pack in the Store. The number of packs opened in a simulation varies based on rarity, but it will always be enough to be statistically valid.” If you see that there is a 100% chance of unpacking a particular item type in any given pack, you will receive at least one such item every time. Remember, however, that pack odds are not cumulative. You have the same chances to earn a specific item each card. The official website puts it the best: “If you flip a coin three times and get heads each time, you still have a 50% chance of getting heads if you flip the coin again.”
