Dragon Quest 11 1.01 Update Patch Notes – What’s Changed in the New Update?

The Dragon Quest 11 1.01 update is now live for both the PS4 and PC versions of the game. Square Enix has provided the Dragon Quest 11 update 1.01 patch notes, so read on below to find out what’s changed in the first ever update for Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive Age.

Dragon Quest 11 1.01 Update Patch Notes – Dragon Quest 11 PS4 Update

The Dragon Quest 11 1.01 update for the PS4 arrives at just over 100 MB. As such, this update only brings several bug fixes to the game. The following issues have been addressed in the new update for the PS4 version of the game:

  • A bug causing the game to crash when the player is 300m away from their horse on the field
  • People’s names, such as Robert or others, are no longer prohibited from being selected as the main character’s name at the beginning of the game
  • Various text bugs

Dragon Quest 11 1.01 Update Patch Notes – Dragon Quest 11 PC Update

The Dragon Quest 11 1.01 update for the PC arrives with all of the same bug fixes as the PS4 version. Additionally, it also addresses a lot more of the bugs and issues specifically plaguing the PC version of the game. Check out the list below for the new feature and bug fix highlights for the PC version of the game:

  • A bug causing the game to crash when the player is 300m away from their horse on the field
  • The default exit key can now be changed (the default is set to Esc), and the Esc key can be bound to a different function
  • Additional frame rate options have been added, including 90 FPS, 120 FPS, and the ability to leave the frame rate unlocked
  • Three pre-set graphics settings can be selected before launching the game. These include Low, Medium, and High
