Is It Possible To Have Multiple Red Dead Online Characters?
No, it appears that it’s currently not possible to have multiple characters in Red Dead Online. Plenty of Red Dead Online beta players have mentioned that it’s only possible to have one character at the moment, and our own staff have verified this themselves.
There’s always a possibility that this feature could be patched in by Rockstar when Red Dead Online moves from the beta stages toward full release. Given that GTA Online allowed you to have more than one character, it could be that Red Dead Online will employ a similar mechanic somewhere down the line.
How Do I Delete My Current Red Dead Online Character?
Are you not happy with how your current character looks? Don’t worry, you can delete them. Be aware that you’ll have to start your Red Dead Online adventure all over again if you do though. Are you sure you want to delete them? Read on to find out how.
Open up the main menu by pausing your game. Head into the settings sub-section and you should see a “player” option there. If you’re playing on PS4, press and hold the square button on your controller to delete your character. If you’re on Xbox One, the button you’ll need to hold is the blue X button.
