Fallout 76 Lead Deposits

As stated above, there are many items that will award you with lead when you scrap them. You will find these items scattered throughout the Fallout 76 map, but we would definitely recommend you take a look at any gyms you come across. The weights and dumbells inside will give you loads of lead. We also recommend switching on your “Tag for Search” feature on lead, as any items containing the resource will be identified by a magnifying glass icon.

Defeating and scavenging robots ought to give you some lead, too, so that’s worth a try. If not, keep on searching, or reload the game into a different server.

Below, you will see the known list of items that award you with lead when you scrap them in Fallout 76, with how much lead you will get to boot.

  • 5lb Weights: 2 Lead

Fallout 76 Lead Ore – Everything You Need to Know

The third and final way that you can get hold of lead in Fallout 76 is through Lead Ore. This is a pure ore of lead that you can smelt at Chemistry Stations. If you’re planning on smelting down two lots of Lead Ore, however, you’ll need some Acid. For every two lots of Lead Ore and one lot of Acid, you will receive five lots of Lead Scrap. As of writing, there aren’t too many known Lead Ore locations, however. You will find Lead Ore at the Hornwright Industrial Headquarters though.

Below are the two locations within the Hornwright Industrial Headquarters where you will likely find Lead Ore in Fallout 76:

  • You will find three lots of Lead Ore on the Executive Floor
  • You can find two more lots of Lead Ore in the Basement

If you’re not lucky enough to find Lead Ore within the Hornwright Industrial Headquarters, try reloading into a new server and taking another look. If this doesn’t work, simply try looking for the Lead Deposits and items containing Scrap Lead as listed above. Happy Hunting.
