Just Cause 4 PUBG Frying Pan – Find the PUBG Easter Egg

Just Cause 4 is out now, and it’s packed full of secrets, Easter eggs, and hidden objects to find. We’ve already shown you how to find the Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy minigame, which turns Just Cause 4 into the infuriating indie sensation, but there’s another Easter egg which turns the game into a more mainstream hit. There’s a Just Cause 4 PUBG Easter egg, which allows you to get your hands on the famous frying pan weapon from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. But where is the frying pan, and can you actually use it? We’ve got the answers.

Where is the Just Cause 4 PUBG Frying Pan Easter Egg?

Just Cause 4 PUBG Pan Location

The Just Cause 4 PUBG frying pan can be found in the Abundancia region, to the far west of Solis island. On the map point over you’ll find the little village of Don Hector, and just to the left of this (and the eastern edge of the village) there’s a building with a flat roof and a balcony. There aren’t many buildings in the village so it should be easy to find, and it’s just opposite a small area with a red generator. Jump down on to the balcony, and you’ll spot the frying pan.

How to Use the Just Cause 4 Frying Pan Melee Weapon

The most impressive thing about the frying pan is that it can be picked up and used as a proper melee weapon, and at the moment it seems to be the only one in the game. After you pick it up, it replaces the whip in your inventory rather than fill a weapon slot. Simply hold the melee attack button, which is “B” on Xbox pads and Circle on PS4 pads, and Rico will lash out with the frying pan instead. You’ll also see it attached to Rico’s back, so it’s possible that it provides some protection, just like in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Unfortunately you’ll lose the pan if you quit the game, but you can return to the same spot to pick it up again, if you want to.
