Blizzard’s ever-popular shooter Overwatch is still in the middle of its annual Winter Wonderland holiday event, but players and the developer itself are already looking forward to 2019 and the start of the Overwatch League series of games. To make things even more exciting, as of now, Blizzard has revealed the full Overwatch League Season 2 schedule for next year, so we know just what to expect.
We now know all the matches that will occur when Season 2 kicks off, including every versus game in Week 1, and the teams that will be hosting road games in their own cities. We know what changes will be made, and most importantly, when Season 2 will kick off. Here’s all the details that Blizzard has currently revealed.
When Will the Overwatch League Season 2 Begin?
Overwatch League Season 2 will officially begin on Thursday, February 14, which is a little later than expected seeing as Season 1 kicked off on January 10, at the beginning of this year. We also expected it to run up to June, but due to the later start time Season 2 will not conclude with the Grand Finals until way out in August 2019. Blizzard clearly wants to make Season 2 last for the majority of 2019, and we don’t have a problem with that.
