Black Ops 4 Killathon Reactive Camo fix – How to get it working

As per the latest Call of Duty Black Ops 4 update, the Killathon Reactive Camo was meant to have been fixed. Unfortunately, however, this doesn’t appear to be the case. Plenty of you are writing that your Black Ops 4 Killathon Reactive Camo still isn’t working as it should. Read on to find out if there’s a fix for the problem.

The Killathon Reactive Camo in Black Ops 4 has been broken for several months now. As stated above, it was meant to be fixed in the newest patch. It’s a camouflage you can unlock for any number of guns. To unlock it, you’re meant to get 50 kills with the Damascus GKS (a gun that is available to Battle Pass owners). For plenty of people, however, that have already unlocked the Killathon Reactive Camo it is now appearing as locked and wrapped after the newest update.

It’s frustrating, for sure, because the Black Ops 4 Killathon Reactive Camos are brilliant. They change their looks throughout matches. It is an annoying glitch and one that should be fixed by now.

During the menu before heading into a game and when you’re choosing class, your Killathon Reactive Camo will be hidden behind dull wrapping. There is a way, however, to get it back in working order during gameplay. Essentially, you might just have to re-unlock the camo.

Choose the Damascus and head into a game (multiple is far more doable) and do one of the following, or all if you can until it’s unlocked again:

  • 30 kills
  • 50 kills
  • Merciless kill-streaks
  • Bloodthirsty kill-streaks

Keep trying this out, and your Black Ops 4 Killathon Reactive Camo should be working in-game again. Doing this with the Damascus GKS should unlock Reactive Camo for all of your guns in-game.

If this doesn’t work, however, we’re afraid you’ll have to wait for Treyarch to fix the bug.
