BioWare’s open-world shooter Anthem has finally released in full, granting players full access to the game’s beautifully vertical expanse. More importantly, players are now collecting those sweet, sweet cosmetic items to adorn their favorite Javelins with; and, in particular, racing to unlock Anthem Legion of Dawn armor before anyone else. However, navigating the menus, it isn’t directly clear how you can unlock such resplendent cosmetic items; read on to find out how to claim special edition items.
Unlock Anthem Legion of Dawn armor | How to claim special edition items
When the Anthem pre-order bonuses were first unveiled at EA’s E3 conference last year, BioWare promised that the special edition would include a four Legion of Dawn Armor Packs, a Legendary weapon, and a Founders player banner. These items are so far only available for players who pre-ordered this special edition of Anthem, so if you’ve picked up the standard version of the game, you might miss out on these rare items. However, if you have pre-ordered the special edition, you can unlock Anthem Legion of Dawn items by navigating to the Rewards panel on the home screen.
To get to this panel, hit Start or Escape in the game, and head for the Featured menu. From here, hold Start or Escape to access the store, and navigate to the rewards panel from there. In this menu, you can see what pre-order bonuses you have access to and can unlock them for use in the game. To equip these items, navigate to the Forge, where your exclusive cosmetic items will now be displayed. If you were hoping to unlock these items but didn’t pre-order the special edition, EA might unlock them in the future, and some lucky players may find a code for the standard edition pre-order bonuses in physical copies of the game.

- Talk to Prospero at his stall in Fort Tarsis.
- Complete his mission.
- Talk to him again.
- Open the Store.
- Claim your items in the Rewards tab.
- Head to the Forge to equip them. (Banner can be equipped through the Squad screen.)
