What is the Fortnite Banana Skin?
The Fortnite Banana Skin does what it says on the tin. Once you unlock and equip the Peely Outfit in Fortnite, you will be running around the Fortnite map as a giant banana. Rather than going down the route of giving us a simple giant banana outfit, it seems as though with the Peely Outfit equipped, you will be playing as a banana person.
What’s more, you will begin the game as a green banana, only for the outfit to ripen as the match goes on. Wonder if you’ll end up covered in bruises and brown spots, too? While the Banana Skin is no doubt hilarious, it’ll also ensure that you stand out on the battlefield. Who wouldn’t notice a gigantic banana running around? It appears to be taller than other outfits, too. With the Peely Outfit equipped, you might just be a far easier target. Worth it, though.
Fortnite Banana Skin | How to unlock the Peely Outfit
The Peely Outfit is brand-new to Fortnite as part of the game’s Season 8 shenanigans. As such, there is only one way in which you can unlock it as of writing. To unlock the Banana Skin in Fortnite, you will need to reach Battle Pass Tier level 47. You only have 69 days in which to do so, however. You will also have to buy the Season 8 Battle Pass if you want to unlock the Peely Outfit, though you will have the Season 8 Battle Pass for free if you completed 13/20 of the Overtime challenges at the end of Season 7.
Epic Games may add the Peely Outfit into Item Shop rotation in the future, too. We’d imagine it to be an expensive skin, however.
