If you’re wondering if you qualify for The Division 2 early access, you’re in the right place. There’s a bit of confusion over how to play The Division 2 early on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you don’t know how to get ahead of the game, read our Division 2 early access guide to find out how.
How to join The Division 2 Early Access
To ensure that you qualify for The Division 2 early access, you will have needed to pre-order one of the game’s five editions. Out of that quintet, only the standard version of the game comes without a guarantee to play it early.
The other four do, and these are the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, Dark Zone Collector’s Edition, and Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition. If you have pre-purchased any of those four, you will get a three-day early access guarantee and be able to play The Division 2 before its March 15 release date.
The Division 2 Early Access | Game editions
Now that you know which editions will give you The Division 2 early access, you might want to consider pre-ordering one if you haven’t already.
The Gold Edition gives you a copy of the game, the Year 1 Pass, and early access. The Ultimate Edition includes all of that, plus three bonus packs – the Battleworn Secret Service Pack, the First Responder Pack, and the Elite Agent Pack – which come with different outfits, skins, weapons, and emotes.
The Dark Zone Collector’s Edition gives you the game, early access, and Battleworn Secret Service Pack. Additionally, you’ll grab yourself the Capitol Defender Pack, a copy of the world map, a selected game soundtrack, and The Art of The Division 2 book of lithographs. A UbiCollectibles statue of Heather Ward and limited edition box complete the set.
Lastly, the Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition gets you the game, early access, all four game packs, map, soundtrack, lithographs, and limited edition box. You’ll also be rewarded with an exclusive steelbook and the Mark Johnson articulated figure from UbiCollectibles. This version is a UbiStore exclusive though, so you can only buy it here.
