Is Halo The Master Chief Collection Launching on PC?
Rumors have been circulating for a while now that the Halo Master Chief Collection will be ported to PC. Brad Sams of Petri and Thurrott, has explained in a YouTube video that he believes “it’s an open secret” that Microsoft is “working on the” Master Chief Collection “for PC.”
It wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see the Master Chief Collection on PC. PC players have been given a taste of Halo before, with ports of the original game and its sequel hitting the platform many moons ago. Nowadays, Microsoft is far more open to releasing games on both Xbox and PC. The upcoming Halo Infinite, for example, has been confirmed for both already. When, though, could we see The Master Chief Collection release on PC?
Halo The Master Chief Collection PC Release Date
While we don’t know for sure when Halo The Master Chief Collection will release on PC, it could be very soon indeed. That is if the YouTube video linked to above is to be believed. Mr. Brad Sams adds that he’s “not sure if it’ll be an E3 release, but it could be announced at E3.” He is certainly “hearing that it’s getting close to release,” at least, so a 2019 window definitely isn’t out of the question.
We could, therefore, see the Halo The Master Chief Collection PC release date as early as this summer. Hopefully, Microsoft doesn’t leave us in the dark for too much longer. Let’s all cross those fingers that we’ll be playing Halo The Master Chief Collection on PC before the end of 2019.
