Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Stage 1 of 3: Destroy Cacti in the Desert

As leaked by FortniteGameLAT, the first of the three free challenges this week is a three-stage challenge. The three stages are as follows:
- Stage 1: Destroy Cacti in the Desert
- Stage 2: Search ammo boxes in the Snow biome
- Stage 3: Search chests in a Jungle
Searching for ammo boxes and chests in the Snow biome and in a Jungle respectively should be easy enough to complete. There should be plenty of ammo boxes to find and open in the Snow Biome. They are quite small, however, so they could be easy to miss. Remember to check inside buildings and the like for ammo boxes and chests. There should be plenty to go around.
Simply head to the Desert biome of the Fortnite map in order to find and destroy Cacti. Either shoot them or attack them with your pickaxe in order to destroy them.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Stage 1 of 3: Visit Fatal Fields and Salty Springs in a single match

There are two three-stage free challenges to complete this week. This one has you visiting two named locations in a single match. You’ll need to complete these three stages in order to complete the challenge:
- Stage 1: Visit Fatal Fields and Salty Springs in a single match
- Stage 2: Visit Haunted Hills and Tilted Towers in a single match
- Stage 3: Visit Frosty Flights and Loot Lake in a single match
As you can see from the map above, we’ve highlighted the areas you’ll need to visit in stage 1 with red circles, stage 2 with blue circles, and stage 3 with yellow circles. Our advice? Drop to one of the two locations and head to the other as fast as you can.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Place Different Trap Slot items in a single match

In order to complete the Place Different Trap Slot items in a single match, you will need to know what the Trap Slot items are. Keep your eyes peeled for items such as Launch Pads and Cozy Campfires. Essentially, anything that goes into the same item Slots as traps. Place a few different Trap Slot items down in a single match and you’ll complete this challenge.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Search where the magnifying glass sits on the Treasure Map loading screen

Perhaps the trickiest challenge of the lot, completing this one has us locating a Battle Star that is shown on the magnifying glass on the Treasure Map loading screen. Thankfully, we’re here to let you know exactly where you’ll need to head in order to complete the challenge.
Unfortunately, you won’t even see the loading screen in question until you hit tier 10 in this season’s Battle Pass. You should be able to find the hidden Battle Star without the need of the loading screen, however. Simply head to the area highlighted in the map above and you should find it.
Once you have landed in that highlighted area, look for a few icy trees bunched together in a small circle. Go there and you will find the Battle Star.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Search chests at Sunny Steps or Fatal Fields

In order to complete this challenge, you will need to head to either Sunny Steps or Fatal Fields. Once at one of these areas, simply go on a chest hunt. There should be plenty of them waiting to be opened in both areas. You will need to find and open seven chests in either named location in order to complete the challenge. Five Battle Stars will be your prize if you complete this one. Just watch out for other players.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Deal Headshot Damage to opponents

You will need to deal 500 Headshot Damage to opponents in order to complete this challenge and earn the 10 Battle Stars as your prize. What can we say with this one? Find an accurate gun and aim for opponents’ heads. Sniper Rifles, Pistols, and semi-automatic Rifles (such as the Infantry Rifle) should prove useful here. It should be easier to pull off headshots while your not in the middle of an intense gunfight. You’ll be better off keeping your distance.
Completing this challenge with a Sniper Rifle will help with the next Battle Pass challenge, too.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet | Get an elimination with an SMG, Pistol, and a Sniper Rifle

The final Battle Pass challenge this week should, thankfully, be simple enough to complete. Simply find an SMG, Pistol, and a Sniper Rifle from either Treasure chests or floor loot and get to killing an enemy with all three. You likely won’t have to do this over one match, either, so you should be able to complete the challenge over the course of the week if you play Fortnite enough.
If you complete four of the Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 challenges, you will be awarded with 5,000 XP reward item.
Fortnite Game Changing Pickups

Fortnite's 10 Game Changing Pickups
So, you're dropping into Tilted Towers and you need a game changer. Something that will ensure that your next match is memorable. Fortnite has had plenty of these types of items in its brief history, and here are the most devastating. See any of these on the field, and you better run. -
Crossbow
Originally themed for Valentines Day, the crossbow was a devastating sniper rifle even without its fancy skin. A high damage output even on Rare difficulty and five shots to a clip made it a sharpshooters dream, and eventually led to it being vaulted in May of 2018. -
Drum Gun
A hybrid of a Rifle and Machine Gun, the Drum Gun brought a 1920s flair to Junk Junction. It proved to be deadly accurate in the hands of players at close range, even after a round of significant nerfs. Two months after its initial debut, it was curtains for this Tommy. -
Guided Missile
The preferred tool of any rocket rider, the Guided Missile lets you root out camping opponents and sail into the skies of victory. A devastating and rare munition, the Guided Missile saw two tours of duty in the fields of Fortnite. As of now, it's still available to mess around with in Playground mode. -
Infinity Blade
Originating in Epic's hit trilogy of mobile games, this mythic sword only lasted for four days before being banished to the Vault. It powered up players and granted them extra health, creating an in-game boss fight. In the end, it did its job just a bit too well. -
Infinity Gauntlet
A purposefully limited time item, this Marvel Comics artifact turned its wielder into Thanos. His mighty punch, energy blast, and insane leaping ability made players quake in fear during his summer stint in the battle royale. Let's hope he finds other worlds to conquer for the sequel. -
Jetpack
Nothing changes a shooter quite like added mobility. Dodge out of sniper fire and root out towers of foes with the Jetpack, a limited time only Legendary backpack. Aeronauts with enough skill can negate any crafty builders and land the last few kills with pinpoint accuracy. -
Mounted Turret
A turret sequence in most shooters is a drag, but a well executed run with the Mounted Turret can be a thrill. This legendary trap is deployable anywhere there's a flat surface and spurts out infinite ammo as long as you mind the heat and don't take enough damage. -
Remote Explosives
It makes sense that a game partially about building would also have some C4 to even the odds, but the Remote Explosives were too much for their own good. Able to rip apart strategies at a distance and coming in bundles of three, most players don't miss these server bombs. -
Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle
Able to pick out enemies and loot with ease, the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle is the current best weapon if you're looking to charge an opposing team. Just be sure to account for its high recoil, lest you be staring into the sun as you take a fatal blow. -
Zapotron
One of the original vaulted weapons in Fortnite's battle royale mode, the Zapotron was an electrified sniper rifle that decimated groups of enemies from afar. It has a great design but doesn't really fit with the rest of the game's more authentic arsenal. Still, don't wear a lightning rod if we ever see this weapon again.
