The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone is an area of the game that you won’t want to explore alone. There are new Dark Zone enemies to overcome but, if you survive, the rewards for completing Occupied Dark Zone will be well worth it. Learn everything worth knowing about The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone below.
The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone | What is it?
The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone is a more difficult dark zone region to explore. It takes place during the endgame phase of Ubisoft’s title, so you will need to have completed the main story in order to access it.
Once you unlock it, you will have to prepare yourself to face a new, tougher foe, and have the potential to acquire rare loot that will help you in other encounters.
The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone | What to expect
The main threat within The Division 2 Occupied Dark Zone will be the Black Tusk faction. We’ve already covered who they are and what they represent in our Black Tusk guide. Once you reach the endgame, they’ll start turning up in the dark zone occasionally, and give you something extra to think about while you explore.
You definitely don’t want to venture into an Occupied Dark Zone alone. You’ll need a team of agents to get out alive as your gear and weapons – as well as your enemy’s – will no longer be normalized. This means you can hit harder and go down more easily, so it’s best to go with some players you’re familiar with.
If you do manage to survive, and even drive the Black Tusk out, the gifts and loot you’ll get with be worth it. Expect to get rarer gear and weapons for your troubles. There’s been no word from Ubisoft about what you can expect to receive, so try out the Occupied Dark Zone yourself to find out.
