Another day another Fortnite leak. Popular Fortnite leaker @lucas7yoshi_ posted some leaked stats recently on Twitter for a new assault rifle. The Fortnite Tactical Assault Rifle appeared on the in-game news screen earlier today and reads “Coming Soon,” leading fans to believe that it could appear in the game later this week, with Epic planning an update in the next few days.
Fortnite Tactical Assault Rifle | What are the stats?
According to @lucas7yoshi_, the Fortnite Tactical Assault Rifle will come in three different varieties: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. It will do between 22 to 24 point blank damage depending on the rarity. It will also do minimum damage of 14.85 to 16.20 at max range. Additionally, it does not appear that the new Tactical Assault Rifle will be replacing any of the current Assault Rifles. However, it is possible Epic could vault one of the weapons at some point.
The Fortnite Tactical Assault Rifle will hold 30 shots and take around two seconds to reload. It is estimated to shoot around seven shots per second and do 25 damage to structures per shot. It is worth noting, however, that despite the leaker’s good track record, these are in fact leaks and could be changed by Epic at any time.
The Tactical Assault Rifle will likely come as part of the v9.01 Fortnite update, which will be the first update since the launch of Season 9 last week. It is unclear what else the update will be bringing to the game, but some think it could bring a new John Wick LTM, among other things.
Season 9 also brought with it tons of new skins and events. The most current event in Fortnite is the Fortbyte challenge. This challenge has 100 computer chips that are scattered all across the map. There are currently 23 available which can be found on the map or achieved by completing statistical challenges. You can use this source to help you find the first 18 Fortbytes.
