As per usual, another new day brings another new Fortnite Fortbyte. The latest Fortbyte to unlock in the event is Fortbyte 17, and it can be found inside a wooden fish building. The Fortbyte event has been going on since the launch of Season 9, and so far, there are 25 total that have unlocked. Most of them are unlockable by tiering up your Battle Pass or gaining XP, however, some are found within the map, like Fortbyte 17. So, where is the wooden fish building location?
Fortnite Fortbyte 17 | Inside a wooden fish building location
In order to figure out where Fortbyte 17 is, you’ll need to know where the wooden fish building is located. Well, fish live in water, so that should lead you to a location with a lake or pond. In this case, you’ll want to head to the ponds between Lazy Lagoon and Sunny Steps. The exact location can be seen in the picture below.
As you are flying there, you should see a fish in the bottom left pond. If you’re flying over the pond, it looks like this:
Now that you’ve landed, it’s time to pick up Fortbyte 17. It is located in the water, inside the tail of the fish. Go down to the water level and head towards the tail, destroy some of the wood by the tail and that should reveal Fortbyte 17.
What is the Fortbyte hidden image?
So far, no one has been able to piece together what the Fortbyte image will be. It supposedly reveals the secrets of Season 9, but currently, there just aren’t enough Fortbytes unlocked to make a guess. Since the event is a fourth of the way done, players will likely be able to get a better idea of what the Fortbyte hidden image is in the coming weeks. Additionally, as it gets closer, it’s always possible that the final image will get leaked.
