One of the final Season of the Drifter Destiny 2weekly reset periods is about to take place. Like the name might imply, this week’s set of changes is very much drifting along rather than offering up anything new and exciting. After all, the Season of the Opulence is right around the corner, so it’d be unwise to make too many big shifts this close to a big event. Still, the Destiny 2 weekly reset today offers up some things you should definitely be made aware of, including a big (non-Xur) goodbye. So, we’ll let you know everything about that below, including the weekly reset time for May 21.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (May 21) | When is the reset time today?
Not long to go now before the Destiny 2 weekly reset lands this week. In fact, we’re talking just hours (and possibly minutes, depending on what time you’re reading this). Expect a “New Adventures Available” message at 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern. That’s 6 PM BST in the UK, before you start counting ahead on your fingers.
You won’t need to log out for the changes to take effect; they’ll be implemented automatically. Bungie’s smart like that.

Elsewhere, you’d best get saying goodbye to Xur. The shopkeeper is packing up on Titan this week and will return in a new location come Friday. However, you can still complete all nine of the Invitation of the Nine Xur bounties at any time, should you so wish. He doesn’t have to be present.
Finally, the Iron Banner is also departing this week. Lord Saladin won’t be returning to the Tower until the next Season begins. See you in June, Sally!
