However, players have noticed that their Merits report keeps glitching out whenever they log back into the game. Players have taken to the Black Ops 4 subreddit to show just what exactly is going on with this bug, and it isn’t great.

According to Reddit user CallMeBanjo, their Prestige level was reset to level 1 even though they had progressed up to level seven. Their Merits had bugged out too, and were now showing as having -12,000 merits in their report. As you might have guessed, other players are now worried about playing Blackout as the same thing could happen to them.

There isn’t a Black Ops 4 Blackout Merits bug fix that will solve the problem for you, but there is hope. A member of the Activision Support team replied to CallMeBanjo and explained that the publisher and developer Treyarch are actively investigating this glitch.
