Nintendo revealed the Daemon X Machina download size on the game’s U.K. Nintendo eShop page. According to the eShop, Daemon X Machina will have a download size of 6241.12 MB, or just over 6 GB. For comparison, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a 14.4 GB download size and Fire Emblem: Three Houses has an 11 GB download, while Dragon Quest Builders 2 has a mere 1.4 GB download. Daemon X Machina‘s U.S. Nintendo eShop page doesn’t yet list the game’s download size, but it’s unlikely that it would be any different from the U.K release.
Fans who pre-order the game (both U.S. and U.K.) will be able to download its data at purchase so that they’re able to play the game as soon as it’s released on September 13. The game’s U.S. eShop page doesn’t mention this Daemon X Machina pre-load feature, but a post on the Switch’s in-console Nintendo News feed confirmed the pre-load’s U.S. availability.

Daemon X Machina‘s U.K. eShop page also lists several pre-order bonuses for players who pre-purchase the game’s digital version. These include a unique mech skin, two player character outfits, and five metallic weapons. According to the Nintendo News feed post, the digital bonuses will not just be pre-order exclusive, as players who purchase the game digitally by October 11, 2019 will also gain access to the items.
