Fantasy Football Premier League app points not updated fix

Running into a Fantasy Football Premier League app points not updated error is the last thing you want to see when checking on your team. Whether you’re on Android or iPhone (iOS), it’s possible that you will run into this problem. If all you are seeing is “0 points” across your “My Team” tab, then you’re in desperate need of a fix. Thankfully, there is a workaround that can temporarily fix the issue. This should help tide you over until an official update can be rolled out.

Why are Fantasy Football Premier League app points not updating?

At the time of writing the Fantasy Premier League social media accounts have unfortunately failed to acknowledge the issues with the app. Despite the large number of users tweeting at @OfficialFPL on Twitter, with complaints of the app not working, there has been no official message.

Vocal players are becoming increasingly irritated by the (presumably scheduled) official tweets teasing “Bonus Points” and asking players “How many points have you left on the bench so far?” With players unable to actually view their points, the tweets are currently rubbing salt into the wound.

Thankfully, for those players who are desperate to see their points, there does seem to be a workaround. Unfortunately, it’s a little tedious, requiring users to go through some additional steps.

If you can’t see the points from the My Team tab, you’ll need to click and view each player’s points individually. This should then show the actual points.

If the above doesn’t work, reinstalling the app is worth a try. A number of users are reporting that this helped fix the error. Simply uninstall the app from your app list, then head to the Google Play or App Store to download and install the app again.
