Death Stranding Off Limits Sign

Death Stranding ‘Off Limits’ Sign | Can I access these areas?

The Death Stranding “Off Limits” sign are probably there for a reason, but what if you could get bypass them and go to off limits areas? That would indeed be pretty cool, as many of the off limits areas are the main city areas where the wider population lives. So if you’re staring at an “Off Limits” sign in Death Stranding, wondering if you can somehow get permission to enter, then this is the guide for you. Read on for what you need to know.

Can you access “Off Limits” areas in Death Stranding?

Death Stranding Off Limits Sign

As you might expect, it’s not yet possible to access the Death Stranding “Off Limits” areas. Those signs are clearly there for a reason, and the developers don’t intend on you roaming outside of the levels that they have designed. Sam is pretty limited when it comes to his exploring KNOTs and other larger settlements, but considering the important work he’s doing, it’s probably for the best.

While it’s not yet possible to access “Off Limits” areas in Death Stranding, it’s important to remember that there will be a PC release coming next year. Unlike consoles, which are locked down pretty tight, there’s a PC gaming modding scene that I’m sure eagerly anticipates Hideo Kojima’s latest piece of work. Perhaps we’ll see Death Stranding PC mods that allow us to go outside of the boundaries implemented by the developers, to soar high above the clouds and go beyond the “Off Limits areas”!

It’s also possible that PS4 players will somehow glitch through the barriers using a vehicle, or some other violent means. Stay tuned for those crazy antics!
