Thanks to RoboPup on Reddit, we know that Shiny Pokemon are in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX. As you can see in the image above from the Redditor, the Friend Bow is seemingly required to find and recruit Shiny Pokemon in the remake. Unfortunately, as of writing, we are unaware of how you can get hold of the Friend Bow. We’re also unsure of how the item works, other than that you’ll need to equip it to your team leader to find and recruit shinies.

We’ll update this guide (or write another) when we know more about the Friend Bow, including its location, how to get it, and exactly what it does. It will prove to be a useful item, at least. Not only will you presumably need it to add shiny Pokemon to your team, but it will also make it more likely that Pokemon will join you. For now, though, it’s nice knowing that shiny Pokemon exist within Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX.
