For Honor patch notes update 2.17.1

The latest For Honor update version 2.17.1 is very small, offering only three specific bug fixes. According to the official patch notes, these include two fixes concerning Nobushi’s Wheel execution: One addresses a missing animation, while the other caused Nobushi to clip into opponents.

ALSO: Warcraft 3 Reforged is officially the worst Blizzard game

Beyond these two bug fixes, there’s one more issue that update 2.17.0 addresses: Problems with the displayed descriptions of Orders. According to the notes, this bug resulted in random numerical strings being displayed in place of the names and descriptions of Orders. While this issue has been addressed, the development team warns that it may still reappear from time to time.

If you want the low-down straight from the developers, here are the full For Honor patch notes for update version 2.17.1.

BUG FIXES

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the opponent to be missing an animation during the “Nobushi’s Wheel” execution
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Nobushi to clip with some opponents while performing the “Nobushi’s Wheel” execution

User Interface

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that sometimes caused numerical strings to be displayed instead of the names and the descriptions of various Orders

Update: The numerical strings sometimes being displayed instead of the Orders names and descriptions is only partially fixed as we are still seeing a few occurrences of this issue. We implemented tracking on this issue to be able to resolve it in a future update.

Update version 2.17.1 may be small, but it shows that the development team at Ubisoft is still fine-tuning various parts of For Honor. The update is available to download now across all supported platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
