If you haven’t joined one already, you can enter a league by applying during the League sign-up period. These are held once a season, which is basically once every month. Once active, you can apply to join a league by clicking on the golden Clan Wars button. You’ll have two days to join a league, and the season will play out throughout the rest of the month.
To actually earn League Medals, all you need to do is participate in Clan League War matches. Even without attacking, you’ll earn 20% of the League Medal Placement reward. However, earning eight War Stars will grant you the full placement reward for the entire Clan. Beyond that, there’s also a chance to earn bonus Medals from the Clan’s leader.
The only way to get League Medals in Clash of Clans is by participating in Clan League Wars. Fortunately, you won’t have to do much to get a cut of the prize. Once earned, you can spend your League Points by opening the League Shop through the Home Village.
