What is the Modern Warfare Double XP Schedule?
There does appear to be something of a rough Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Double XP schedule, at least. Since the game released, Double XP events have taken place relatively regularly, but it’s difficult to pin down an exact schedule. Alongside scheduled Double XP weekends and events in Modern Warfare and Warzone, we’ve also had Double XP given out following errors and issues with the game (apology XP). As of writing, we’ve been treated to ten or so Double XP events in the game. The most recent being the 2XP Everything event, which ended on May 8, 2020, a week after the event before it.

Based on the timings of previous Double XP events in Modern Warfare, we can say that there is a rough schedule in play. There have been a couple of Double XP events each month in Modern Warfare since April 2020. These tend to fall at the start of the month and the middle of the month. Take a look at the complete list of Double XP events so far in Modern Warfare below, if you don’t believe us:
- October 6-December 31, 2019: Mountain Dew and Doritos Event
- October 27, 2019: Flash 2XP Event
- November 11, 2019: Veterans Day Twitch Stream Reward
- February 12-February 19, 2020: Twitch Double Weapon XP
- March 10-March 17, 2020: 2XP everything week
- April 3-April 6, 2020 (was extended to April 7): Double XP weekend
- April 17-April 20, 2020: 2XP everything weekend
- May 1-May 4, 2020: 2XP everything weekend
- May 5-May 8, 2020: 2XP everything continued
It’s safe to say, therefore that we can expect a new Double XP event in early-mid June 2020. Typically, Double XP events fall on the weekend. The next event could fall between June 5, 2020, to June 8, 2020. There should be a couple of Double XP events in Modern Warfare each month, but don’t take that as a guarantee.
