Garb List (Part 1)







Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII introduces a new Schema system, in which players create different sets of weapons, skills, and garbs in order to establish versatility in combat. Garbs in particular play a huge role, as they can change Lightning's stats, abilities, and other important attributes that give an edge in battle.



There are quite a few outfits in Lightning Returns; some can be found below, while the others are detailed in part two of the guide.



Amazon Warrior
  • Location: The Ark (Day 7)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the warrior. It increases the wearer's physical damage and maximum HP.



Astral Lord

  • Location: Forge (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: The ultimate garb for those specializing in magical arts. It comes equipped with the abilities Flare, Chill, Surge, and Tornado.



Black Mage

  • Location: The Ark (Day 4)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the black mage. It increases the wearer's magic damage and maximum ATB.



Black Rose

  • Location: Yusnaan (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of lightning and brings the powerful spell Thundaga with it.



Blue Mage

  • Location: Yusnaan ("Free Will" sidequest reward)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the blue mage. It allows the wearer to wield the peculiar magics of nature itself, and hastens the recovery of ATB.



Bold Vanguard

  • Location: Dead Dunes
  • Description: A garb made for attacking any enemies within reach. It increases the wearer's resistance to status ailments.



Candy Raver

  • Location: Yusnaan
  • Description: A garb that increases the damage dealt to enemies when the wearer has 70% or more HP.



Carnival Crusher

  • Location: Forge
  • Description: A fantastic garb that resists all four magic elements. It hastens the recovery of ATB.



Champagne Gold

  • Location: Luxerion
  • Description: A garb that comes partnered with the ATB charge ability. It increases the wearer's maximum HP.



Cold Rebellion

  • Location: Luxerion
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of ice. It increases the wearer's Magic and maximum HP.



Crimson Bloom

  • Location: Yusnaan (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of fire and brings the powerful spell Firaga with it.



Cyber Jumpsuit

  • Location: Yusnaan
  • Description: A tricky set of garb, woven with Dispel to prevent enemies from giving themselves an advantage. It increases the wearer's physical and magic resistance.



Dangerous Blossom

  • Location: Dead Dunes
  • Description: A garb for a battle tactician who creates weaknesses in her enemies. It also increases the wearer's resistance to debilitations and debuffs.



Danse Macabre

  • Location: Forge
  • Description: A garb that masters multiple elements. It is an effective choice for striking out at enemy weaknesses.



Dark Knight

  • Location: Luxerion ("To Save the Sinless" sidequest reward)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the dark knight. It increases the wearer's physical damage and magic resistance, and allows her to use the abilities Darkness and Ashura.



Dark Muse

  • Location: The Ark (Default)
  • Description: A basic garb that comes set with the Attack ability.



Dark Orchid

  • Location: Yusnaan (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A garb that restore a small amount of EP when the wearer takes damage during battle.



Deja Vu

  • Location: Dead Dunes
  • Description: A garb designed for those able to manage their health wisely. As the wearer's HP dwindles, the stronger her attacks become.



Divergence

  • Location: Dead Dunes
  • Description: A garb for a battle tactician who creates weaknesses in her enemies. Damage done to enemies that have status ailments will restore HP to the wearer.



Dragon's Blood

  • Location: Wildlands
  • Description: A garb that increases the damage dealt to enemies when the wearer's ATB is 30 or lower.



Dragoon

  • Location: Yusnaan ("Death Game" sidequest reward)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the dragoon. It allows the wearer to use Lancet and increases her stagger capability.



Duelist

  • Location: Luxerion (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A defensive garb that puts vitality above all else. It greatly increases the wearer's maximum HP.



Dust and Shadow

  • Location: Dead Dunes
  • Description: A garb built for strong defense, hard and true. It increases the wearer's resistance to status ailments.



Electronica

  • Location: Wildlands
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of lightning. It strengthens the wearer's Magic.



Equilibrium

  • Location: The Ark (Default)
  • Description: A balanced garb for the savior who stands on the border between man and God.



Guardian Corps

  • Location: The Ark (requires FFXIII save file)
  • Description: The field uniform of a member of the Sanctum forces. It was considered acceptable wear during times of peace.



Heartstealer

  • Location: The Ark (Day 9)
  • Description: A garb imbued with the soul of the thief. It allows for quick and agile attacks, and hastens the recovery of ATB.



Helter Skelter

  • Location: Wildlands (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A garb made for a physical attacker. It greatly increases the wearer's Strength.



Hidden Justice

  • Location: Forge
  • Description: A garb that masters multiple elements, bearing Flamespark within its weave. It strengthens the wearer's Magic.



Hunter of the Wild

  • Location: Wildlands
  • Description: A garb made for a physical attacker. Defeating an enemy restores HP to the wearer.



Icy White

  • Location: Yusnaan (Hard Mode only)
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of wind and brings the powerful spell aeroga with it.



Ignition

  • Location: Wildlands
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of fire. It strengthens the wearer's Magic.



Innocence

  • Location: Luxerion
  • Description: A garb perfectly suited for switching to other schemata. Changing out of it when ATB is low will cast Protect, increasing physical resistance.



Intruder

  • Location: Yusnaan
  • Description: A garb perfectly suited for switching to other schemata. Changing out of it when ATB is low will cast Faith, strengthening magic attacks.



Knight of Etro

  • Location: The Ark (requires FFXIII-2 save file)
  • Description: A suit of armor received from the goddess Etro in Valhalla.



L'Ange Noir

  • Location: Luxerion
  • Description: A garb that harnesses the power of lightning. It strengthens the wearer's Magic.
