Is it safe to Dismantle items in Marvel’s Avengers?

dismantle items in Marvel's Avengers

It is safe to dismantle items in Marvel’s Avengers, as long as you know that you no longer need the item that you want to dismantle. Once you dismantle an item in the game, it is gone forever. In its place, however, you will receive resources. These resources can be used to power up other items within your inventory. If this is sounding familiar, you’ve probably played Destiny before.

Dismantling items in Marvel’s Avengers is safe, just make sure that you definitely no longer need the item before you dismantle it.

  • Dismantle items to turn them into resources
    • Use these resources to power up other items
  •  Once an item has been dismantled, it is gone forever
    • Make sure you definitely no longer need the item. Don’t dismantle and regret

Remember, too, any gear item can be improved upon up to ten times with resources. It might be worth holding on to some gear to boost it up the levels, especially if it’s a rare item.

How to Dismantle items in Marvel’s Avengers

Hold the Triangle button (Y on Xbox) over items in your inventory to dismantle them. You can only dismantle one item at a time (no grouping for you). Only dismantle items that you know you no longer need. See above for the reasons behind this. There’s plenty of new content coming to Marvel’s Avengers, too, check out the Roadmap.
