Knowing the Doom Eternal The Ancient Gods rune locations is good for those who want to become even more powerful in this new piece of DLC. Support Runes, as they are called here, give the Doom Slayer three new abilities, but only one can be slotted at a time. So where are the Ancient Gods runes? A few of them are also tied to the Slayer Keys. Finding all three will also unlock the “Lucky Charm Bracelet” trophy or achievement.

The first rune is tied to the Slayer Gate.

Go into the room behind the tentacles
After blowing up the facility, you will eventually get to this long hallway with a bunch of tentacles. Go to the room at the end of the hallway behind the armor piece.
Dash through the lasers and get to this room
Once you’re at that room, dash through the lasers when they are off and kill the Cyberdemon in the next room. You will see the key behind a grate here. Continue on into the room with the device that fills out your map. Stay in that room.
Jump on the top of the fence and use the monkey bars
This is going to be tricky. You need to jump on top of the fence or the containers next to it and then hop off the side. You need to use the monkey bars and the hang a hard right and dash into the breakable vent. Watch out for the turret. Here’s another closer picture:

The second rune is out in the wild in the second level and is the only one you can find that isn’t behind a Slayer Gate.

Dash past the giant tentacle
In the beginning of the level, you will get to the platform in the above picture and have to jump and dash across the gap. A big tentacle will show up. Get to the other side.
Go past the flame traps
Once you land, there will be a few flame traps to your left. Go past them and fall into the bog below.
Find the cracked wall
After you drop down, immediately look to your left. There will be a cracked wall. Break it.
Go through the path and climb the wall
Once you break the wall at the above part on the map, continue down the narrow, linear path and you can’t miss the second rune.

The second and final Slayer Key is right at the start of the third level.

Punch down the first green tree
You will do this a few times in this level but punch down the green tree and use it as a ledge to get to the higher area.
Jump to the ledge above you
Once you get above the ledge with the tree, you’ll need to go one level higher. Jump up to the ledge in the picture that the arrow is pointing to.
Dash jump to the ledge across the way
After you’ve gotten some altitude, you will have to dash jump to the high ledge that in the direction from whence you came.
Jump across a small gap for the key
The last key is right there for you. It’s just a short jump away. The actual gate is farther in the level near the part where you need to use the monkey bars, as you can see in this picture of the map:
Complete that Slayer Gate and get your final rune.
