The Watch Dogs: Legion Bloody Mary Kelley ‘hack the security system’ puzzle will see you rotating nodes in order to gain access to the antagonist’s security system, retrieving useful information for your DedSec operatives in the process. The Bloody Mary Kelley puzzle is one of the more difficult node puzzles in the relatively early stages of WDL, with players needing to use a drone in order to rotate and unlock the nodes. So how do you solve the hack the security system puzzle?
How to hack the security system in Bloody Mary Kelley puzzle solution
To hack the security system in the Watch Dogs: Legion Bloody Mary Kelley puzzle, you will need to rotate the nodes laid out along the floor and walls. When two blue lines run through a previously locked node, you will be able to unlock it, allowing you to complete the blue line and finish the puzzle.
Here is the order in which the nodes should be rotated.
Upstairs nodes
After coming out of the vent, head to your right and down the corridor. Rotate the T-shaped node until all three lines are blue.
Next, head back to the vent and unlock the node on the floor. Then use this new I-shaped node to direct the blue line downstairs and towards the painting.
Painting nodes
Rotate the first L-shaped node so that it continues the blue line along the top of the painting. The L-shaped node to its right should be rotated so it continues the blue line down the right side of the painting. The I-shaped node should face vertically, sending the blue line along the line beneath the bottom of the painting, allowing you to unlock the node on its bottom-left.
Now, rotate the top-left L-shaped node so that it sends the blue line to the left of the painting. Move the bottom-left I-shaped node so that it continues the blue line to the bottom-right I-shaped node, and rotate this node so that it continues the blue line around the wall to the next part of the puzzle.
Second painting nodes
The blue line will continue along the wall to a second painting. Rotate the first L-shaped node so that it continues the blue line along the top of the painting’s frame. Rotate the second L-shaped node so that it directs the blue line to the locked node on the right.
After unlocking the node, rotate the first L-shaped node so it redirects the blue line along the top of the wall towards the newly unlocked I-shaped node. This node should face vertically and continue the blue line along the wall, with the final L-shaped node continuing the blue line towards the floor.
Wall of portraits nodes
The blue line will now continue to the left, where you can also find a wall of paintings that will be the final portion of the puzzle.
Start by rotating the first L-shaped node at the top of the wall, continuing the blue line to the left. Rotate the next L-shaped node so that it directs the blue line to the bottom of the wall, then rotate the next L-shaped node so that the blue line continues to the bottom-right. Now rotate the final L-shaped node until it direct the blue line back along the floor, unlocking the node.
Head back upstairs and now unlock the final node, rotating it until it directs the blue line and the resulting power into the laptop located in the vent room. You have now completed the puzzle.
