Mortal Kombat 11 Meteor | How to summon the tower

Mortal Kombat 11 Meteor Code | How to summon the secret tower

The Mortal Kombat 11 meteor has been one of the longest-running known secrets in the game and wasn’t a new feature in the most recent update or in MK11 Utimate. It has remained a complete mystery until now as the community recently discovered that it summons a secret fight in a secret tower. Here’s how to summon the meteor tower and what inputs to press in MK11.

What time does the Mortal Kombat 11 meteor appear?

The meteor in the Mortal Kombat 11 Towers of Time appears every two hours, 10 minutes after the hour. Just make sure to on the main screen in the Towers of Time where all the towers are visible. These times also change with every time change and will alternate between odd and even hours depending on the time of year. For around November to March, these times include:

  • 12:10 AM PST
  • 2:10 AM PST
  • 4:10 AM PST
  • 6:10 AM PST
  • 8:10 AM PST
  • 10:10 AM PST
  • 12:10 PM PST
  • 2:10 PM PST
  • 4:10 PM PST
  • 6:10 PM PST
  • 8:10 PM PST
  • 10:10 PM PST

And when the time changes in March (until it changes again in November), the times will be:

  • 1:10 AM PDT
  • 3:10 AM PDT
  • 5:10 AM PDT
  • 7:10 AM PDT
  • 9:10 AM PDT
  • 11:10 AM PDT
  • 1:10 PM PDT
  • 3:10 PM PDT
  • 5:10 PM PDT
  • 7:10 PM PDT
  • 9:10 PM PDT
  • 11:10 PM PDT

If it comes at an even-numbered hour in a certain time zone, it will always come at all the even hours in that time zone. If it comes at an odd-numbered hour in a certain time zone, it will always come at all the odd hours in that time zone

When the meteor flies across the screen at the above times, players have to quickly input the special Mortal Kombat 11 meteor code:

  • Up, left, up, left, right, left, up, up

Once that code has been done correctly, a message will pop up telling players they’ve gotten the secret tower.

Confirm the message and go over to the new tower on the upper right part of the screen. It is where the summoned towers are.

This is an expensive fight. It will cost 250,000 koins, 500 hearts, and 2,500 soul fragments. But it will yield a Kombat League skin, level four Jinsei augment, and two random augments or cosmetic items. It isn’t yet clear if these towers are random or if specific ones come at certain times. Players have also reported getting Kombat League skins from many different seasons, including the current one. The white Kombat League Shao Kahn skin from the above tower was from Season 8 (Season 16 is the current season). It showed up at 10:10 AM PT, but, again, it isn’t clear if that time will always have that tower or if it was random.

Just be careful as this is a very hard fight. The enemy will have 3,000 health points and have a ton of modifiers helping them out. It is highly suggested that players outfit their fighter with some Jinsei augments and have a few good konsumables, too. The Krystal of Life, Reiko’s Shuriken, and Special Forces Radio are three excellent choices (but just be warned that the Krystal of Life is two slots).
