How off the heels of the Galactus event, the official Fortnite Twitter account has dropped a new teaser asking players to reply with “#Bounty” and “#Wildheart” to “accept transmission.” This request to reply with the hashtags is preceded by “Zero Point — Unstable – Project Hunter” and “Defender – Shapeshift” So, what does this teaser mean, and what happens when a user replies #Bounty or #Wildheart to the Fortnite Twitter?

The #Bounty and #Wildheart tweets are obviously teasers for Fortnite Season 5. However, we don’t have much to go on right now. The #Wildheart audio log is being sent as a reply to some of the Twitter users who replied with #Bounty. The #Wildheart log is a recording of a man saying:
“Reality Log 1987
Why is every jungle in every reality crawling with venomous snakes and strange predators? Whatever. It will all be worth it when I find Maeve. The locals around here call her a Wildheart. That’s shapeshifter to you and me. Rumor has it the gods have granted her three forms: shark, harpy…. and, uh, well actually, no one has lived long enough to see the third one. This’ll be fun.”
The message is noted as one of six audio transmissions, and it can be assumed that those who reply to it with #Wildheart will receive another log sometime soon.
The transmission doesn’t seem to give many substantial clues, though that’ll likely change once we have the remaining five. Right now, we can speculate that #Bounty is referring to the LTM Wick’s Bounty or The Mandalorian. #Wildheart is referred to as the native name of a shapeshifter in the audio log, but there was also a Wild Hearts cosmetic set available in the game previously.
For now, players will just have to keep checking back and continue gathering clues from the Fortnite Twitter. With Season 5 starting very soon, we’ll likely have the rest of the longs by the end of the day.
