On the White Orchard Notice Board, Geralt finds a listing for a man whose brother has not come home from the battlefield, and needs Geralt to clear the way of corpse-eating necrophages for him to search for his missing sibling with his dog.
After using your Witcher Sense to search the battlefield, the dog finds the man, in a cabin, with a Nilfgaardian soldier who helped him escape the battlefield.
There are two paths, choose to save or abandon the Nilfgaardian soldier, for which the rewards are the same.
