The first step to getting SR3 for free on PS5 is to have the PS4 version of the game. There are a few ways to go from there. Players can either search for the game on the PlayStation Store and get the game from there. It should have “PS5 Edition” or “Free PS5 Upgrade” somewhere on the game’s listing depending on the page.
Click on “Download.”
Then it will ask players to “purchase” the free version of Saints Row: The Third.
From there, it should prompt players to download the remaster or the PS4 version for some reason. The PS5 version is the bigger file of the two and should be at the top.
The second way is a little easier if the PS4 version is already handy. Go to the game’s hub screen and go to the icon right about the trophy count on the right side of the screen.
