After our latest look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at The Game Awards 2021, fans are wondering when the game’s release date will be. A Suicide Squad game has been in development in some form since 2010, though this one was revealed just over a year ago. We’ll look at when Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Switch below.
What is the release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Switch?
The release date for Suicide Squad is slated for sometime in 2022. Unfortunately, that’s all the info we have so far. Since we only have a release window of what year the game will launch in, we’d guess that it’ll come out sometime near the end of the year.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League won’t get a last-gen version. So, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch owners shouldn’t expect a version of the game for those consoles. It’ll only be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Kill the Justice League will, as the name suggests, involve the titular Suicide Squad coming together to fight the world’s bravest heroes. Unfortunately, Brainiac has once again brainwashed DC’s superheroes into doing his bidding, and the only people left that can stop them are the baddies. However, this time it’s in the Batman Arkham universe, so things are a bit different.
This time around, the Suicide Squad consists of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark. Amanda Waller gathers them and sets them loose in an open-world Metropolis. They face off against Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and more.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League looks like it’s shaping up to be an exciting game, and we can’t wait to play it sometime in 2022.
