With a new week comes a bunch of exciting new television shows and movies heading to our favorite streaming services. Between September 12 and September 18, Netflix has a lot of content to offer, including the return of some critically-acclaimed shows. Here are all of the new films and TV shows coming to Netflix this week…
What is coming to Netflix this week (September 12-18)?
One of the biggest Netflix launches this week is the return of Fate: The Winx Saga. Back for its second season, the series will once again bring a unique blend of magic and teenage problems, along with a healthy dose of chaotic drama. Arriving just in time for the weekend, all episodes of season 2 will drop at once, allowing you to binge your way through at your own pace. There’s no word yet on whether we will be getting a season 3, but after the success of the debut season, it would be surprising if Netflix pulled the plug after season 2.
Reality fans meanwhile, can catch up with the couples who took part in the most recent series of Love is Blind, as spinoff show After The Altar makes a comeback. Marriage isn’t easy, and audiences are about to go through the motions with the wedded couples in three 45-minute episodes. Will the big personalities be able to make it work, or could divorce already be on the cards?
Other highlights this month include true crime limited series Sins of Our Mother, anime film Drifting Home, and comedy stand-up special Jo Koy: Live from the LA Forum.
