Slime Rancher 2 Favorite Foods

Slime Rancher 2 Favorite Foods for All Slimes

You’ll need to know the Slime Rancher 2 favorite foods if you want to get the most out of your slime farm. Feeding a slime their most preferred foods will get them to produce twice the amount of Plort, which is flexibly used throughout the game. It takes a lot of time through trial and error to figure out what each slime loves to eat, so this guide will help you get right to the chase and stock up on their favorite foods early.

Slime Rancher 2 Favorite Foods List

Slime Rancher 2

Below is a quick list of every slime’s favorite food, along with their general diet in parentheses. There are 21 slimes (at the time of this writing), but future updates for the game will likely add to this.

  • Angler Slime – Sea Hen (Meat)
  • Batty Slime – Pomegranate (Fruit)
  • Boom Slime – Briar Hen (Meat)
  • Cotton Slime – Water Lettuce (Vegetables)
  • Crystal Slime – Odd Onion (Vegetables)
  • Fire Slime – Ash (Ash)
  • Flutter Slime – Moondew Nectar (Nectar)
  • Gold Slime – Gilded Ginger (Gilded Ginger)
  • Gordo Slime – Depends on Slime* (Depends on Slime*)
  • Honey Slime – Mint Mango (Fruits)
  • Hunter Slime – Roostro (Meat)
  • Largo Slime – Depends on Slime* (Depends on Slime*)
  • Lucky Slime – No Preference (Meat)
  • Phosphor Slime – CuBerry (Fruits)
  • Pink Slime – No Preference (Anything)
  • Puddle Slime – No Preference (Water)
  • Quantum Slime – Phase Lemon (Fruits)
  • Ringtail Slime – No Preference (Anything)
  • Rock Slime – Heart Beet (Vegetable)
  • Tabby Slime – Stony Hen (Meat)
  • Tarr Slime – The Player/Beatrix (Anything except other slimes)

Largo Slimes adopt the favored food of the Slime it was before becoming a Largo Slime, so you’ll need to keep track of what it was. The same goes for giant Gordo Slimes. As always, be careful with Largo Slimes as they can transform into hostile Tarr Slimes if they eat a Plort of a type it doesn’t produce.
