Forspoken can you save Olevia

Forspoken: Can You Save Olevia?

You can’t save Olevia in Forspoken. The little girl dies when Tanta Sila attacks Cipal, which is a shock since children are rarely casualties in video games. Unfortunately, there’s no alternate route to take here to make sure Olevia lives.

Can you save Olevia from dying in Forspoken?

Olevia can’t be saved in Forspoken. Her death is a major catalyst for the story and one reason why Frey fights the Tantas. Without that, she likely would have continued concentrating on getting home instead of protecting Cipal and stopping the Break.

Olevia’s death will be something that echoes throughout the game. Frey was affected by seeing a little girl die that reminded her of herself, and her grudge against Tanta Sila for killing her pushes her to decide to change the world (or at least Athia).

It’s unfortunate that you can’t save Olevia in Forspoken, but you can partake in several side quests that mention her. You can also meet her cat later on. Weirdly, despite her being an orphan, everyone has positive things to say about Olevia. Too bad Square Enix didn’t give us the option to find her a home and help change her life. That’s just the way things sometimes go, though.
