Dead Space Remake Legacy Rig

Dead Space Remake Legacy Rig: Where Is the DS-08 Classic Suit?

Dead Space Remake has brought back a classic look from the original 2008 title it originated from, the Legacy Rig. The DS-08 classic engineer’s suit is one of a few fond remembrances of Isaac’s early days that players can find and equip in-game. Thankfully, the suit isn’t locked behind paid DLC, and locating the Legacy Rig is much easier than you’d think and nowhere near as hard as finding the silly Hand Cannon.

Dead Space Remake: How to find the Legacy Rim location and equip it

The Legacy Rig cosmetic comes free with the standard version of Dead Space Remake and is found handily enough after completing the majority of Chapter 1 — New Arrivals. Once you’ve gotten the trams running again and before heading off to Medical to begin the next chapter, you’ll be presented with the first Store in the game.

To find the suit, navigate over to the far right Storage tab and the DS-08 Legacy Rig will be available to equip. You’ll get the usual suit upgrade animation within the Store pod and that’s it.

It’s important to remember that the suit is purely cosmetic and doesn’t offer any added defense, so any suit upgrades you find and purchase will be providing the armor.
