Hogwarts Legacy Troll Bogey Location

Hogwarts Legacy Troll Bogey Location: Where to Collect Them

You can get Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy by either buying them or defeating trolls. You’ll need them for one quest in the game, Professor Onai’s Assignment, which grants you the Decendo spell when completed. They’re also a required ingredient in the Invisibility Potion recipe, which comes in handy during battle.

Where to find Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy

There are two locations you can get Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Purchase them at J. Pippin’s Potions for 100 Gold
  • Find them as drops from defeated Trolls

Fortunately, Professor Onai doesn’t care where you get your Troll Bogey. Obviously, buying one from the store is the easiest way to obtain one. Then, it just takes a short jaunt over to Hogsmeade and back.

However, you may want to get your bogey straight from the source. If that’s the case, then you’ll want to hunt down one of the brutes yourself. Trolls are one of the more challenging enemies in Hogwarts Legacy. However, there’s a way to make them much easier.

There are several locations to find Trolls in Hogwarts Legacy. However, look for one around a bandit camp if you want an easy fight. Usually, the Troll will be fighting the camp inhabitants, and you can hang out on your broom and let them go at it. The dark wizards almost always lose, but they’ll have done most of your work for you. So, sweep in, hit the monster with a few spells, and then pick up the Troll Bogeys at your leisure.
