Rock Band 5 Release DATE

Rock Band 5 Release Date: Is It Coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC?

Rumblings of a Rock Band 5 release date are starting to hype up the rhythm game community. With the previous game launching way back in 2015, though with regular content drops, fans are desperate for any scraps of news on a potential new Rock Band game.

Is there a Rock Band 5 release date for PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC?

Currently, Rock Band 5 isn’t confirmed as actually existing.

According to sales figures, Rock Band 4 underperformed according to the developer and publisher Harmonix’s expectations, and since then Harmonix has been absorbed by Epic Games. There’s been no talk of a new game in the series and the current iteration of Rock Band is running on a small crew.

Interest in the game series has spiked since a tweet from HyperKin, a peripheral designer, asked if Epic Games wanted to make a new game with them. So far there’s no response from Epic Games or anybody close to the Rock Band series, so there’s no confirmation on a continuation of the series.

In other rhythm game news, we take a look at whether Hi-Fi Rush is coming to PS5, and in non-rhythm-based news, we’re finally getting GB and GBA games on the Switch.
