Minecraft 2.61 Update Patch Notes (1.19.72): Today, March 21

Minecraft 2.61 update patch notes list

  • Fix for Minecraft Realms purchases on PS5 and PS4.

The main fix that Mojang has focused on with this patch is an issue with Minecraft Realms, with Mojang releasing the following tweet:

For those who aren’t playing on PS5 or PS4, this patch isn’t super exciting, but at least you can be happy for your fellow Minecraft community members who have been suffering on PlayStation consoles.

There are no new content additions with this update, and no major bug fixes other than the one listed above. It’s clear that this was something that Mojang absolutely needed to fix sooner rather than later, so hopefully, this frees them up to do more content further down the line and allows them to concentrate on larger bug fixes when they’re needed.

In other news, we’ve taken a look at when Modern Warfare 2 is getting prop hunt, and what the differences are between Fortnite Creative 1.0 and Fortnite Creative 2.0.
