The Last of Us Part 1 update v1.0.2.0 patch notes for PC has been released by Naughty Dog. The majority of this update fixes known issues and crashes throughout this PC port partly developed by Iron Galaxy. Naughty Dog has admitted that the game’s release is not up to their standards, so hopefully this patch will improve the PC port to a far better standard.

Here is a breakdown of the most important changes in The Last of Us Part 1 v.1.0.2.0 patch notes:

  • Crash Fixes – Fixes crashes that occur during character skin swaps, shader loading, and regular gameplay. Also fixes a crash that occurs when following Riley in the mall in the Left Behind Standalone DLC.
  • Controller Fixes – Fixes error where DualSense and Xbox One controllers had their analog stick disabled
  • VRAM Usage Display – The Updated Graphics settings and Environments Texture Quality setting now show the correct VRAM usage
  • Reduced Load Times – Increased active loading to reduce load times on gameplay progression
  • AMD – Fixed issue where the wrong graphics settings were applied to the AMD RX 5700 and RX 6600 Series GPUs
  • Steam Deck – Changed position of weapon and health HUD, fixed PSO Caching freeze at 50% completion
  • Epic Games Store – Fixed problems where the sky could render black and with the “Who’s a Good Boy?” achievement
