Overwatch 2 Long Queue Times Battle Pass

Overwatch 2 Long Queue Times: How to Fix Battle Pass Purchase Bug

The Overwatch 2 long queue times have reared their ugly heads again and this time it has hit the Season 4 Battle Pass. Users report being stuck waiting in line to purchase the Battle Pass for hours, with their position jumping erratically. The estimated wait time says that a player only has to wait a few minutes, but then it suddenly spits out a different wait time later. Here’s what you can do to fix this strange queue bug.

How to fix Overwatch 2 long queue times for Battle Pass

Currently, we recommend that you wait until Activision Blizzard fixes the queue time for the Battle Pass, or until the Overwatch 2 servers are not as overloaded.

Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do apart from waiting or checking back later to see if you can buy the pass.

Looking at various posts in the Overwatch Reddit, multiple users have shared screenshots of them being stuck in line for an hour, going backward in line, and being jumbled around all over the queue. So at the very least, know that you’re not the only one having this frustrating problem.

Overwatch 2 has had issue with long migration queues and long wait times in the past. Blizzard has addressed the problem before, stating that it had intentionally throttled the queue, but it looks like this issue will continue to persist.
