Diablo 4 Grinning Labyrinth Bug Fix Dungeon

Diablo 4 Grinning Labyrinth Bug Fix: How to Slay Grinning Fiends in Dungeon

A persistent Diablo 4 Grinning Labyrinth bug has not been fixed yet, preventing players from completing the “Slay the Grinning Fiends” objective. The glitch occurs because it is possible to kill some of the Grinning Fiends before the objective pops up, while you complete the first task that has you destroy vessels of demonic corruption. For some reason, there’s a path that allows you to kill some of the fiends early, but if you do so, any that you destroy will not count toward the second task. This makes the dungeon impossible to complete. Here’s a workaround or solution that you can try to fix this Grinning Labyrinth dungeon bug.

How to fix Diablo 4 Grinning Labyrinth bug

To fix the Diablo 4 Grinning Labyrinth bug, you will need to reset the dungeon and re-enter the labyrinth, making sure not to kill any of the Grinning Fiends before you destroy the demonic corruption.

More Diablo 4 guides

By resetting the dungeon, we mean that you leave the dungeon entirely and wait about ten minutes as you do other things before the dungeon resets itself. You can also leave the game and return if that’s faster for you.

As you navigate the Grinning Labyrinth, we recommend looking for the white diamond icon to locate the demonic corruptions and to be careful if you see the skull icon as that indicates there is a champion or elite nearby. There’s also a door that will allow you to bypass the first objective, so we recommend not going through that passage. The demonic corruptions should be in the Binding Corridors and not in the Endless Coil area.

Unfortunately, Blizzard has yet to fix this bug with any of its recent patches or hotfixes, so we’re not certain whether this will be repaired before the beginning of Diablo 4 Season 1. This is a bit of a surprise since this bug was reported by users not soon after the game’s launch. That said, there are still other glitches that haven’t been addressed like the Conceited Aspect bug and an issue with the Fury Against Fate quest.
