To disarm the trap on this Harper Stash, you need to cast the Light cantrip or Daylight spell on the chest.
If you fail to disable the trap, your party will take a large amount of damage. If you’re wondering why a light spell will disarm the trap, this is explained in a book that you can also find in the Grymforge. This text explains how a Harper was tortured for information on the cache by a Sharran. While reading the book, your party member can then attempt to pass an Investigation check; on a success, the character will deduce that a light spell will disable the trap.
That said, it’s possible to disarm the trap using the regular method of a Trap Disarm Kit. Using a light spell will bypass this, though, and save you the trouble.
An important note: Even after you loot all of the items in the Harper Stash, the map marker for it might still remain. This is similar to the bug for the hidden goblin stash in the Forest area of the game. (There also seems to be a glitch with the toy chest as well; just make sure you don’t put any items inside of it for now or they might be lost.)
