Baldurs Gate 3 Umbral Gem Locations

Baldur’s Gate 3 Umbral Gem Locations: Where is the Missing Gem?

You’ll need to find four Umbral Gem locations in Baldur’s Gate 3 to complete the Gauntlet of Shar and pass further into the Dark Justiciar temple. Given how large the area is, you may find that you’re missing one of the Umbral Gems. Fortunately, none of them are that hard to find. It’s just passing the trials to get them you have to worry about.

Soft-Step Trial chamber

Faith-Step Trial chamber

This challenge requires you to navigate hard-to-see platforms suspended over a chasm. Just raise the brightness on your display and head to the statue to get another gem.

Orthon’s Lair

You’ll meet Yurgir the Orthon here in his lair of corpses. You can fight Yurgir straight up, talk to him and pass a few checks to convince him to kill his entourage and himself, or find out why his contract with Raphael isn’t complete and then complete it for him. Regardless of your chosen method, an Umbral Gem will be your reward.

After getting all four Umbral Gems, you can return to the center of the Gauntlet of Shar and insert one into the device there. It’ll activate an elevator that will take you to a lower floor with a similar device. Insert the remaining three gems in it to access the temple’s depths.
