Armored Core 6 Best Arena Loadout Build

Armored Core 6 Best Arena Loadout: What’s the Best Build for Arena?

Finding the best loadout for the Arena in Armored Core 6 is much easier than you’d think. Since you only have to worry about one opponent, the entire roster can be defeated with one or two builds. For the most part, the combatants are trivial, and most players won’t find any trouble breezing through them with the best AC6 Arena builds below.

What’s the best Armored Core 6 Arena loadout?

I’ve found the two best Arena builds for Armored Core 6 aren’t that exciting. However, by using these loadouts, you can make it through all 29 fighters at the earliest possible opportunity.

Best Arena loadout for Ranks 29-12

At launch, the best Arena loadout is also the best lone to use in the AC6 campaign. You just need to center your build around plasma weapons. Equip your arms with two plasma rifles and use the vertical launch plasma missiles for your back weapons. These are so good that they may be nerfed, but as of writing, this is an OP combo.

You’re going to get most of your damage by causing ACS stagger in this game. You have to lean heavily on the new mechanic when taking on enemy ACs, so you want weapons that cause decent ACS strain while also making sure you consistently hit your foes so their ACS buildup gauge doesn’t drain.

Plasma weapons are perfect for the Arena because of their Area of Effect damage. Some of your foes are frustratingly agile, so being able to catch them in your plasma explosions often enough that their ACS gauge doesn’t decrease makes the process of defeating them much more straightforward.

Best Arena loadout for Ranks 11-1 and beyond

Unfortunately, things change when you face the hardest Arena combatant at Rank 11. Cinder Carla is a lot tougher than previous enemies, and you need to switch things up to take her down since she shrugs off plasma.

Fortunately, by this point, you’ll have unlocked the Gatling guns. These are the ultimate ACS strain weapon, and hitting enemies with two of them at once melts the gauge. Pair them with grenade launchers or another decent forward-firing back weapon, and you’re good to go.
