You’ll find Normal Weapons scattered in locations throughout Lies of P. These are your bread and butter and can be broken down and combined into even more weapons. The more you find, the more creative you can be, so you should be on the lookout for them wherever you go.
In Lies of P, Normal Weapons break down into two parts: a head or blade, and a handle. These can be mixed and matched to create combinations that bring together the characteristics of two different weapons. Normal Weapons can be upgraded to +10, and to do so, you’ll need 3 Hidden Moonstones, 3 Crescent Moonstones, 3 Half Moonstones, and 1 Full Moonstone. Fully upgrading a Normal Weapon unlocks the “Strongest Normal Weapons” trophy or achievement.
One note we have is to buy every weapon the first time you see it at a merchant. Several of the Wandering Merchants disappear during the course of the game, which will lock you out of purchasing some weapons and obtaining the Normal Weapon Collector trophy or achievement.
Lies of P Normal Weapons Locations
Here is a list of all the Normal Weapons in Lies of P and the locations where you can find them in roughly chronological order:
- Puppet’s Saber Blade and Handle Location: Starter weapon if you choose Path of the Cricket Combat Style or buy from Wandering Merchant near the Parade Master boss for 300 Ergo.
- Greatsword of Fate Blade and Handle Location: Stater weapon if you choose Path of the Sweeper Combat Style or buy from Wandering Merchant near the Parade Master boss for 300 Ergo.
- Wintry’s Rapier Blade and Handle Location: Stater weapon if you choose Path of the Bastard Combat Style or buy from Wandering Merchant near the Parade Master boss for 300 Ergo.
- Electric Coil Stick Head and Handle Location: Buy from the Wandering Merchant inside the House on Elysion Boulevard for 1,200 Ergo.
- Krat Police Baton Head and Handle Location: When you leave the House on Elysion Boulevard via the rooftops, you’ll find a police officer puppet in the next building you come across. Drop down the ladder inside and kill the puppet to get this weapon.
- Salamander Dagger Blade and Handle Location: From the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer, you’ll need to climb the nearby stairs and find a hole in the floor. If you drop into it, you can find a safe to break into to get this weapon.
- Booster Glaive Blade and Handle Location: You’ll see a giant robot puppet moving around called the Puppet of the Future. In the area it’s walking in is a chest with this weapon. Unfortunately, the ground there is covered in Corruption, but you can sprint past the robot and grab the chest if you don’t feel like fighting.
- Fire Axe Blade and Handle Location: Near the Workship Union Culvert Stargazer, is a tunnel that fireballs roll through periodically. At the very end of this tunnel, near the origin of the fireballs, is a chest with this weapon inside.
- Big Pipe Wrench Head and Handle Location: From the Center of Venigni Works Stargazer, you can pass into a mine that leads toward Moonlight Town. Be on the lookout for a ladder along the upper path. If you climb this ladder, you’ll find the chest containing this weapon at the top of it.
- Blind Man’s Double Spear Location: Start at St. Frangelico’s Cathedral Stargazer and head down to the depths. Find the lift shortcut and activate it, then use the nearby rafters to climb to the top of the room. You’ll see two big wooden wheels you can jump through. However, instead of jumping through the second one, stand on it, and it’ll take you to a secret room that has a chest with this weapon inside.
- Acidic Crystal Spear Blade and Handle Location: Start from the Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer and head down the hill. Kill or avoid the two enemies, then drop down to the lower area and head right. Nearby, you’ll find a chest with this weapon inside.
- Bone-Cutting Saw Blade and Handle Location: You’ll discover a square area in Malum District with a ladder that leads to the rooftops. Head up to the roofs and then double back toward where you entered the square to find the chest with this weapon.
- Bramble Curved Sword Blade and Handle Location: Find the Wandering Merchant inside the Red Lobster Inn to buy this weapon for 2,000 Ergo.
- Dancer’s Curved Sword Blade and Handle Location: Past where you defeat the White Lady, you’ll find some stairs. Go up them and then find the shortcut nearby. Open it and head through to find this chest guarded by four enemies.
- Exploding Pickaxe Blade and Handle Location: You’ll eventually encounter a large skeleton ballerina in the Estella Opera House. Kill it, then explore the room it was in to find this weapon in a safe.
- Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger Blade and Handle Location: You’ll need to first find the Incredible Venigni Collection in the Estella Opera House. You can get it by heading to the room with a chandelier, then dropping down and exploring down the hallway to find a room with a safe. Inside the safe is the collection. Then, give it to Pulcinella at Hotel Krat.
- Clock Sword Blade and Handle Location: After meeting Geppetto near Charity Market, look for some carnival stands. There’ll be a ladder nearby that leads to a chest containing this weapon.
- Circular Electric Chainsaw Blade and Handle Location: Find the Wandering Merchant near the shortcut to buy this weapon in Lorenzini Arcade.
- Spear of Honor Blade and Handle Location: From the merchant mentioned above, head back and open the gate. Past it, you’ll find an area filled with fog that causes Decay. Brave the passage to find a safe with this weapon inside.
- Live Puppet’s Axe Blade and Handle Location: You can find this weapon in a chest in the Barren Swamp on the tower with the cannon.
- Pistol Rock Drill Blade and Handle Location: Find the Fancy Venigni Collection in the second Barren Swamp landfill and give it to Pulcinella at Hotel Krat to add this weapon to their shop.
- City Longspear Blade and Handle Location: In the Barren Swamp Ravine, you’ll find this weapon in a chest located in a house near the top of the cave.
- Master Chef’s Knife Blade and Handle Location: Look for the ticket lounge at the Krat Central Station Platform. Inside is a side path with a chest containing this weapon at the end of it.
- Coil Mjolnir Blade and Handle Location: From the Krat Central Station Lobby Stargazer, head outside of the station and to the left to find the chest with this weapon inside.
- Military Shovel Blade and Handle Location: Find the Wandering Merchant near the Abandoned Apartment Stargazer and buy this weapon for 3,500 Ergo.
- Black Steel Blade and Handle Location: You’ll find this weapon in the optional area Hermit’s Cave guarded by a tough enemy.
- Cursed Knight’s Halberd Blade and Handle Location: This weapon is located in a chest on the end of the broken bridge in the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance.
- Acidic Great Curved Sword Blade and Handle Location: You’ll find a Dimensional Butterfly in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall. Past it is a room with a formidable enemy inside guarding a chest that contains this weapon.
- Carcass Crystal Axe Blade and Handle Location: Before getting this weapon, you must find Test Subject 826 in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall. Then, beat Laxasia the Complete. This will make Subject 826 move to the bridge near Rosa Isabelle Street, at which point you can purchase this weapon from him.
