How to get into the observatory in AC Mirage

To get into the observatory for the Bronze Mirror Heist in AC Mirage, you are going to have to be proficient at throwing knives. First, go around to the back of the building and move the rectangular object in the above picture from side to side. Grab it and slide it a few feet to the right.

Once it has been moved, climb on top of it and move to the far right. There is window right next to you to your right. Aim down throw the bars and try and hit the lock on the door. If you are having trouble seeing, use Eagle Vision (the left button on the D-pad) to ping and highlight it. The auto-aim is rather generous, too. There are also a few throwing knives on the sack right beneath the window.

After nailing the the lock, you will be free to walk inside. Go inside and up the stairs to grab the “On the Latitude of the Stars” quest item. There’s also a chest full of loot, but that isn’t relevant to the quest.

That is not the end of the quest, though. There are still two other papers to grab. The first is on top of the observatory. Climb above the front door, grab the wooden pole, walk across the rope, climb up the wooden screen, and then move the bookshelf to make a path to the top. The next paper is near the big metal device and is called “Calculating the Azimuth.”

The third and final paper is on the small house just west of the observatory. Climb to the roof and you’ll see a glowing, floating page. It’ll float away once you get near it like the shanty pages in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Chase it and you’ll get the final paper.

Once you have all three, be sure to go back to the bench right in front of the observatory. If none of these items have spawned, you have to remember to talk to the quest giver again.
