Spiderman 2 Game Spoilers: What Characters Die?

Spiderman 2 Game Spoilers: What Characters Die?

Spiderman 2 is full of characters and, being a comic book game, it’s only natural that some will meet their end. The last two games had multiple people die, which shows Insomniac Games is not afraid of killing off icons. Here’s who dies in Spiderman 2 on the PS5.

What characters die in the Spiderman 2 PS5 game?

Spiderman 2 has a reasonably high death toll, which is natural for a game involving a bloodthirsty symbiote like Venom and an adept hunter like Kraven. Here are all of the main and named characters who die in Spiderman 2:

More Marvel's Spider-Man 2
  • Shocker: Shocker dies off-screen through the hands of Kraven and his goons, as is revealed on a computer screen during a story mission.
  • Vulture: Vulture also dies off-screen from Kraven and his gang. This is also told to the player through context clues in a story mission.
  • Electro: Electro is yet another character who dies off-screen via Kraven. You will also find his gear in one of the story missions.
  • Scorpion: Kraven kills Scorpion by himself, which players actually do get to see in a cutscene. This cutscene has Scorpion in a small hunting grounds that pits the two against each other.
  • Kraven: As was seemingly Kraven’s plan, Venom gets the better of Kraven near the end of the game and takes him out after a long fight. Venom bites Kraven’s head off in one surprisingly gory scene. While comic book characters can sometimes wiggle out of deaths through clever editing, Kraven’s head was definitively bitten clean off, as shown by the blood that pours out.

Harry Osborn did not technically die in Spiderman 2, as Miles Morales was able to shock him back to life. However, he appears to be in a comatose state as his illness takes over. It is very clear that he won’t make it without some sort of intervention, so this thread is left dangling and likely won’t be resolved until Insomniac releases another Spiderman game. It seems like the nebulous G-serum his father speaks of might be involved, but that has yet to be seen.
